Roberge finished 8-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roberge defeated Bedard 8-7, then won 7-3 against Steve Holdaway (Montreal , QC) and 4-2 against Alexandre Leduc (Valleyfield, QC). Roberge won 9-4 against John Stewart (Valleyfield, QC), then won 8-7 against Mark Homan (Gatineau, QC) and 10-2 against Jean-Sebastien Roy (Saguenay, QC). Roberge went on to lose 7-6 against Martin Ferland (Trois-Rivieres, QC). Roberge responded with a 8-4 win over Yannick Martel (Saguenay, QC). Roberge won 9-3 against Michael Fournier (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the WFG Quebec Tankard, Roberge take home 13.701 world rankings points.
