After advancing directly to the championship game, Laurie St-Georges (Montreal, QC) lost 3-1 to Noemie Verreault (Chicoutimi, QC) in the Final of the Quebec Scotties, held January 19 - 26, 2020 in Valleyfield, Quebec.

St-Georges finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, St-Georges defeated Lisa Davies (Montreal, QC) 10-3, then won 9-8 against Marianne Girard (Quebec, QC) and 6-5 against Verreault. St-Georges won 5-4 against Quebec's Caroline Hains, then won 7-6 against Gabrielle Lavoie (Quebec, QC). St-Georges went on to lose 9-3 against Camile Boisvert (Quebec, QC). St-Georges lost 10-3 to Julie Tippin (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Quebec Scotties, St-Georges take home 8.044 world rankings points, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 43rd place overall with 85.671 total points. St-Georges ranks 44th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 81.176 points earned so far this season.
