Girard went on to lose 11-8 against Verreault. Girard responded with a 8-5 win over Quebec's Caroline Hains in their final qualifying round match.

Girard earned 6.216 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Quebec Scotties, moving up 149 spots the World Ranking Standings into 186th place overall with 6.216 total points. Girard ranks 180th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.216 points earned so far this season.
