In their opening game, Quillian lost 9-4 to Sarah Mallais (Saint John, NB), then responded with a 8-2 win over Karen Cousins (Saint John, NB). Quillian won 8-7 against Andrea Crawford (Oromocto, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
