Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB) finished 5-1 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kaufman defeated Holly Scott (Edmonton, AB) 8-5, then won 8-0 against Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) and 7-5 against Teryn Berlando (Okotoks, AB). Kaufman went on to lose 9-5 against Marla Sherrer (Lacombe, AB). Kaufman responded with a 11-2 win over Scott. Kaufman won 8-5 against Krysta Hilker (St. Albert, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Alberta Scotties Provincial Qualifier, Kaufman take home 12.150 world rankings points. For week 25 of the event schedule, Kaufman did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kaufman ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
