Glen Hudy (Yellowknife, NT) needed a tiebreaker to advance to the playoffs, Hudy finished 3-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hudy defeated Paul Delorey (Hay River, NT) 14-2, then went on to lose 9-6 against Bruce McArthur (Fort Smith, NT). Hudy lost 6-5 to Ed Sattelberger (Yellowknife, NT) where Hudy responded with a 14-2 win over Sattelberger. Hudy won 7-1 against McArthur. Hudy went on to lose 3-1 against Delorey in their final qualifying round match.
