To advance to the championship game, Hudy won 8-6 over Greg Skauge (Yellowknife, NT) in the semifinals of the 2020 Northwest Territories Mens Championship in Hay River, Northwest Territories, Canada;
 
Hudy finished 2-2 in the 5-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hudy lost 9-1 to Koe, droppimg another game, 10-9 to Skauge where Hudy responded with a 8-2 win over Keith Dohey (Hay River, NT). Hudy won 7-6 against D'arcy Delorey (Hay River, NT) in their final qualifying round match.
