Shane Vollman (Regina, SK) finished 2-3 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Vollman lost 8-1 to Cole Tenetuik (North Battleford, SK), droppimg another game, 8-7 to Lawrence Corrigal (Prince Albert, SK) where Vollman responded with a 12-3 win over Carson Ackerman (Saskatoon, SK). Vollman won 10-4 against Anthony Neufeld (Saskatoon, SK). Vollman went on to lose 7-2 against Lloyd Fell (Unity, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Vollman earned 1.145 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 26 of the event schedule, Vollman did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Vollman ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
