Ryan Jacques (Edmonton, AB) finished 6-4 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacques lost 8-5 to Daniel Bruce (St. John's, NL), then responded with a 4-2 win over Sawer Kaeser (Fort Smith, NT). Jacques won 7-6 against Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK). Jacques went on to lose 8-5 against Owen Purdy (Kingston, ON). Jacques lost 5-4 to Johnson Tao (Richmond, BC) where Jacques responded with a 8-5 win over Hayato Sato (New Westminster, BC). Jacques won 9-8 against Brett Walter (Winnipeg, MB). Jacques went on to lose 6-2 against Jacques Gauthier (Winnipeg, MB). Jacques responded with a 10-2 win over Tyler Smith (Montague, PEI). Jacques won 9-4 against Graeme Weagle (Chester, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

Jacques earned 6.871 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 27 of the event schedule, Jacques did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Jacques ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
