Jacob Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) finished 3-6 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Horgan defeated Greg Cheal (Lennoxville, QC) 6-4, then went on to lose 5-3 against Graeme Weagle (Chester, NS). Horgan responded with a 8-7 win over Liam Marin (Saint John, NB). Horgan went on to lose 6-5 against Tyler Smith (Montague, PEI). Horgan lost 7-5 to Jacques Gauthier (Winnipeg, MB). Horgan lost 5-4 to Brett Walter (Winnipeg, MB) where Horgan responded with a 5-2 win over Johnson Tao (Richmond, BC). Horgan went on to lose 9-5 against Owen Purdy (Kingston, ON). Horgan lost 7-6 to Sawer Kaeser (Fort Smith, NT) in their final qualifying round match.

Horgan earned 3.435 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 27 of the event schedule, Horgan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Horgan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
