Horgan lost 5-4 to Brett Walter (Winnipeg, MB) where Horgan responded with a 5-2 win over Johnson Tao (Richmond, BC). Horgan went on to lose 9-5 against Owen Purdy (Kingston, ON). Horgan lost 7-6 to Sawer Kaeser (Fort Smith, NT) in their final qualifying round match.

Horgan earned 3.435 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. WOLFVILLE, N.S. — Edmonton’s Team Selena Sturmay solidified a berth into the 2025 Montana’s Canadian Curling Trials, presented by Connect Hearing, with a 9-4 win over Team Kayla MacMillan (Victoria) in the third and final game of the women’s best-of-three final at the 2025 Home Hardware Canadian Pre-Trials on Sunday afternoon.
