Kleiter finished 7-3 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kleiter defeated Johnson Tao (Richmond, BC) 8-4, then won 7-4 against Owen Purdy (Kingston, ON). Kleiter went on to lose 7-6 against Ryan Jacques (Edmonton, AB). Kleiter responded with a 6-3 win over Hayato Sato (New Westminster, BC). Kleiter won 9-3 against Sawer Kaeser (Fort Smith, NT), then won 5-4 against Bruce and 7-6 against Tyler Smith (Montague, PEI). Kleiter won 7-6 against Brett Walter (Winnipeg, MB). Kleiter went on to lose 9-7 against Graeme Weagle (Chester, NS). Kleiter lost 6-5 to Jacques Gauthier (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
Kleiter earned 12.978 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the New Holland Canadian Junior Mens Championship. For week 27 of the event schedule, Kleiter did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
