Abby Marks (Edmonton, AB) lost 10-3 to Mackenzie Zacharias (Altona, MB) in the Final of the New Holland Canadian Junior Womens Championship, held January 18 - 26, 2020 in Langley, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, Marks won 6-5 over Taylour Stevens (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2020 New Holland Canadian Junior Womens Championship in Langley, British Columbia;
 
Marks finished 6-4 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Marks defeated Mackenzie Mitchell (St. John's, NL) 6-4, then went on to lose 9-8 against Ashley Thevenot (Saskatoon, SK). Marks responded with a 9-2 win over Sierra Sutherland (Ottawa, ON). Marks won 12-3 against Bayly Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK), then won 7-3 against Tyanna Bain (Inuvik, NT) and 5-4 against Kaila Buchy (Kimberley, BC). Marks went on to lose 12-3 against Stevens. Marks lost 6-5 to Melodie Forsythe (Moncton, NB) where Marks responded with a 7-3 win over Noemie Gauthier (Kenogami, QC). Marks went on to lose 8-7 against Zacharias in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the New Holland Canadian Junior Womens Championship, Marks take home 18.474 world rankings points. For week 27 of the event schedule, Marks did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Marks ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
