Kira Brunton (Sudbury, NONT) finished 5-4 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brunton lost 7-4 to Noemie Gauthier (Kenogami, QC), droppimg another game, 8-4 to Taylour Stevens (Halifax, NS). Brunton lost 10-7 to Melodie Forsythe (Moncton, NB) where Brunton responded with a 10-4 win over Sadie Pinksen (Iqaluir, NU). Brunton won 8-3 against Lauren Ferguson (Cornwall, PEI). Brunton went on to lose 9-6 against Mackenzie Zacharias (Altona, MB). Brunton responded with a 7-5 win over Kaila Buchy (Kimberley, BC). Brunton won 10-1 against Tyanna Bain (Inuvik, NT), then won 10-3 against Bayly Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK) in their final qualifying round match.

Brunton earned 6.298 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 27 of the event schedule, Brunton did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Brunton ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
