Beth Farmer (Kinross, SCO) lost 7-6 to Amy Bryce (Stirling, SCO) in the Final of the Scottish Curling Junior Championships, held January 22 - 26, 2020 at the Curl Aberdeen in Aberdeen, Scotland.
 
Farmer finished 8-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Farmer defeated Susie Smith (Greenock, SCO) 12-0, then won 11-3 against Kara Findlay (Edinburgh, SCO) and 7-2 against Hannah Farries (Dumfries, SCO). Farmer won 7-6 against Fay Henderson (Dumfries, SCO), then won 9-5 against Layla Al-Saffar (Forfar, SCO) and 9-2 against Findlay. Farmer won 12-2 against Bryce, then won 9-8 against Lisa Davie (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Scottish Curling Junior Championships, Farmer take home 10.581 world rankings points. For week 27 of the event schedule, Farmer did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Farmer ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
