In their opening game, Lemieux lost 9-5 to Sandy MacEwan (Sudbury, NONT), droppimg another game, 8-7 to Jordan Chandler (Little Current, NONT). Lemieux lost 9-2 to Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) where Lemieux responded with a 8-3 win over Jeff Brown (North Bay, NONT). Lemieux went on to lose 9-4 against Mike Badiuk (Geraldton, NONT). Lemieux lost 8-2 to Charlie Robert (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) where Lemieux responded with a 7-3 win over Ryan Sayer (New Liskeard, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.

Lemieux earned 1.069 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 28 of the event schedule, Lemieux did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Lemieux ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
