Mike Badiuk (Geraldton, NONT) lost 7-3 to Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) in the Final of the Northern Ontario Men's Provincial Championship, held January 29 - February 2, 2020 in Temiskaming Shores, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Badiuk won 8-5 over Sandy MacEwan (Sudbury, NONT) in the semifinals of the 2020 Northern Ontario Men's Provincial Championship in Temiskaming Shores, Ontario;
 
Badiuk finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Badiuk lost 6-5 to Jeff Brown (North Bay, NONT), droppimg another game, 10-4 to Jacobs. Badiuk lost 8-3 to MacEwan where Badiuk responded with a 7-6 win over Jordan Chandler (Little Current, NONT). Badiuk won 9-4 against Nicholas Lemieux (Sault Ste Marie, NONT), then won 8-4 against Ryan Sayer (New Liskeard, NONT) and 8-3 against Charlie Robert (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Northern Ontario Men's Provincial Championship, Badiuk take home 7.838 world rankings points. For week 28 of the event schedule, Badiuk did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Badiuk ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
