Johnston lost 8-7 to Abby Deschene (Sudbury, NONT). Johnston lost 8-7 to Bella Croisier (Sudbury, NONT) where Johnston responded with a 11-7 win over Mandy Gebhardt (New Liskeard, NONT). Johnston won 9-8 against Camille Daly (Sudbury, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
Johnston earned 3.188 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Northern Ontario Scotties Championship, moving up 128 spots the World Ranking Standings into 213th place overall with 3.188 total points. Johnston ranks 213th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.188 points earned so far this season.
