After advancing directly to the championship game, Tova Sundberg (Ostersund, SWE) lost 8-3 to Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the Final of the Swedish Championships, held February 6 - 10, 2020 in Jonkoping, Sweden.

Sundberg finished 5-1 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sundberg lost 9-6 to Emma Moberg (Mjolby, SWE), then responded with a 6-5 win over Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE). Sundberg won 6-3 against Cecilia Fransson (Skelleftea, SWE), then won 8-2 against Maria Larsson (Ostersund, SWE) and 7-3 against Hasselborg. Sundberg won 7-6 against Nilla Hallstroem (Harnosand, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Swedish Championships, Sundberg take home 15.362 world rankings points, moving up 94 spots the World Ranking Standings into 128th place overall with 18.155 total points. Sundberg ranks 128th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 18.155 points earned so far this season.
