Sophie Jackson (Dumfries, SCO) finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jackson defeated Eve Muirhead (Perth, SCO) 7-6, then won 8-2 against Susan Kesley (Edinburgh, SCO). Jackson went on to lose 9-5 against Maggie Wilson (Aberdeen, SCO). Jackson responded with a 11-6 win over Rachael Dakers (Edinburgh, SCO). Jackson won 11-5 against Lisa Davie (Stirling, SCO). Jackson went on to lose 6-3 against Amy MacDonald (Morey, SCO). Jackson lost 7-4 to Beth Farmer (Kinross, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Jackson earned 7.182 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 30 of the event schedule, Jackson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Jackson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
