Pulli finished 5-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pulli defeated Angelo Marasciulo (Rochester, NY) 16-1, then won 7-4 against Erich Krumme (Utica, NY). Pulli went on to lose 7-3 against Casper. Pulli responded with a 9-2 win over Nicole Prohaska (Plainfield, NJ). Pulli won 6-3 against Melvin Shaw (Potomac, MD), then won 7-0 against Mark Mooney (Plainfield, NJ) in their final qualifying round match.
