Persinger/Plys Reaches 2020 USA Mixed Doubles National Championship Quarters

Vicky Persinger/Christopher Plys (Chaska, MN) qualified for the 2020 USA Mixed Doubles National Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 10-7 against Tabitha Peterson/Joe Polo (Chaska, MN). of the 2020 USA Mixed Doubles National Championship in Bemidji, Minnesota;

Persinger/Plys finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Persinger/Plys defeated Massachusetts's Monica Walker/Alex Leichter 8-5, then won 7-3 against Christine McMakin/Riley Fenson (Bemidji, MN) and 12-7 against Madison Bear/Andrew Stopera (Chaska, MN). Persinger/Plys went on to lose 7-6 against Sarah Anderson/Korey Dropkin (Minneapolis, USA). Persinger/Plys responded with a 5-3 win over Cristin Clark/Chris Bond (Seattle, WA) in their final qualifying round match.

Persinger/Plys earned 8.230 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 20.068 total points. Persinger/Plys ranks 142nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.106 points earned so far this season.
