Heldin/Lindstroem Runner-Up at 2020 Swedish Mixed Doubles Championship

Johanna Heldin/Kristian Lindstroem (Stockholm, SWE) lost 8-2 to Agnes Knochenhauer/Rasmus Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the Final of the Swedish Mixed Doubles Championship, held February 27 - March 1, 2020 in Sundbyberg, Sweden. To advance to the championship game, Heldin/Lindstroem won 8-2 over Monika Wrana/Mats Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2020 Swedish Mixed Doubles Championship in Sundbyberg, Sweden; and won 12-4 over Fanny Sjoberg/Axel Sjoberg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the quarterfinals. of the 2020 Swedish Mixed Doubles Championship in Sundbyberg, Sweden;

Heldin/Lindstroem finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Heldin/Lindstroem defeated Ann Mari Jonsson/Erik Furusjo (Sundbyberg, SWE) 9-7, then won 10-3 against Maria Larsson/Anders Kraupp (Stocksund, SWE). Heldin/Lindstroem went on to lose 7-4 against Emma Sjodin/Johannes Patz (Leksand, SWE). Heldin/Lindstroem responded with a 9-6 win over Sjoberg/Sjoberg in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Swedish Mixed Doubles Championship, Heldin/Lindstroem take home 25.958 world rankings points, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 23.068 after improving upon their best so far this season. Heldin/Lindstroem ranks 9th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 123.146 points earned so far this season.
