In their opening game, Webster defeated Adam Kingsbury (Ottawa, ON) 6-3, then won 8-5 against Carruthers and 8-4 against Ryan Abraham (Halifax, NS). Webster went on to lose 4-3 against Matt Dunstone (Kamloops, BC). Webster responded with a 10-4 win over Jason Ginter (Edmonton, AB). Webster won 6-5 against Kyle Doering (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
