Ramsfjell finished 5-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ramsfjell defeated Vidar Hansen (Hedmarken, NOR) 12-1, then won 8-3 against Mathias Braenden (Lillehammer, NOR) and 7-2 against Paul Richardsen (Christiansand, NOR). Ramsfjell won 8-2 against Bent Anund Ramsfjell (Jar, NOR), then won 12-3 against Grunde Buras (Lillehammer, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Norwegian National Men's Championship Championship title, Ramsfjell earned 22.444 world rankings points.
