Hallie McCannell (Brandon, MB) finished 1-6 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCannell lost 6-3 to Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB), droppimg another game, 7-4 to Maddy Warriner (Hamilton, ON). McCannell lost 10-4 to Justine Comeau (Fredericton, NB). McCannell lost 9-6 to Isabelle Ladouceur (Waterloo, ON) where McCannell responded with a 9-8 win over Kristin Clarke (Halifax, NS). McCannell went on to lose 9-3 against Mary Fay (Kingston, ON). McCannell lost 9-4 to Stasia Wisniewski (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

McCannell earned 1.042 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 34 of the event schedule, McCannell did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McCannell ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
