Kayla MacMillan (New Westminster, BC) won 10-1 over Kaitlyn Jones (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Championship, held March 11 - 15, 2020 in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, MacMillan won 7-4 over Hollie Vincent (Red Deer, AB) in the semifinals
 
MacMillan finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacMillan defeated Emily Clark (Edmonton, ON) 5-2, then went on to lose 9-8 against Vincent. MacMillan responded with a 8-3 win over Hannah Terry (Camrose, AB). MacMillan won 7-2 against Amelia Dolsen (London, ON), then won 11-4 against Jones and 9-7 against Melanie Jefferson (Sault Ste Marie, ON). MacMillan won 7-5 against Brittany Brezinski (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Championship Championship title, MacMillan earned 16.031 world rankings points. For week 34 of the event schedule, MacMillan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. MacMillan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
