Advancing directly to the semifinals, Joanisse won 5-0 over Paul Cseke (Victoria, BC) to advance to the championship game. of the 2021 King Cash Spiel in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada;

Joanisse finished 4-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Joanisse defeated Cameron de Jong (Penticton, BC) 9-3, then won 6-4 against Cseke and 9-2 against Ken McArdle (New Westminster, BC). Joanisse won 7-0 against Jason Montgomery (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the King Cash Spiel, Joanisse take home 11.398 world rankings points along with the $2,400CDN prize, moving up 35 spots the World Ranking Standings into 147th place overall with 25.102 total points. Joanisse ranks 134th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.492 points earned so far this season.
