Wiebe finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wiebe defeated Mike Siggins (Tempe, AZ) 8-0, then won 9-2 against Wayne Fleming (Phoenix, AZ) and 4-1 against Craig Kochan (Scottsdale, AZ). Wiebe won 9-3 against Jason Smith (Nashville, TN). Wiebe went on to lose 6-5 against John Shuster (Duluth, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Wiebe earned 10.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Ed Werenich Golden Wrench Classic presented by The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen. For week 26 of the event schedule, Wiebe did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 26th to 28th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 126.188 total points. Wiebe ranks 22nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 108.375 points earned so far this season.
