7-6 to Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB), droppimg another game, 8-2 to Yuta Matsumura (Kitami, JPN) where McEwen responded with a 3-2 win over Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI). McEwen won 3-1 against John Epping (Toronto, ON). McEwen went on to lose 6-2 against Koe in their final qualifying round match.
 
McEwen earned 9.111 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 13 of the event schedule, McEwen did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 7th to 8th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 222.117 total points. McEwen ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 63.259 points earned so far this season.
