Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) won 6-2 over Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the Stu Sells 1824 Halifax Classic, held November 12 - 15, 2020 at the Halifax Curling Club in Halifax, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Gushue won 5-4 over Jamie Murphy (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2020 Stu Sells 1824 Halifax Classic in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada; and won 7-3 over Brent MacDougall (Halifax, NS) in the quarterfinals.

Gushue finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushue defeated Greg Smith (St. John's, NL) 13-1, then won 6-3 against Trent Skanes (St. John's, NL) and 5-4 against James Grattan (Oromocto, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Stu Sells 1824 Halifax Classic Championship title, Gushue earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 13 of the event schedule, Gushue did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 3rd place on the World Ranking Standings with 395.747 total points. Gushue ranks 232nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.000 points earned so far this season.
