Luca Rizzolli (Trentino, ITA) finished 4-3 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rizzolli lost 8-5 to Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE), then responded with a 11-1 win over Dean Huerlimann (Zug, SUI). Rizzolli won 9-1 against Mathias Genner (Kitzbuehel, AUT), then won 6-4 against Andrin Schnider (Schauffhausen, SUI). Rizzolli went on to lose 7-1 against Joel Retornaz (Pinerolo, ITA). Rizzolli responded with a 6-5 win over Noe Traub (Lausanne, SUI) to advance to a C-Qualifier game where they lost 6-3 against Steffen Walstad (Oslo, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Rizzolli earned 6.793 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 12 spots the World Ranking Standings into 84th place overall with 37.410 total points. Rizzolli ranks 42nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 33.400 points earned so far this season.
