To advance to the championship game, Rajala won 6-2 over Nicholas Lemieux (St. Catharines, ON) in the semifinals of the 2021 Moosehead Classic in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-2 over Sandy MacEwan (Sudbury, NONT) in the quarterfinals. of the 2021 Moosehead Classic in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada;
 
Rajala finished 2-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rajala defeated Maddy Warriner (Dundas, ON) 4-2, then won 7-4 against Frederic Lawton (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Moosehead Classic Championship title, Rajala earned 17.774 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 269 spots the World Ranking Standings into 124th place overall with 18.043 total points. Rajala ranks 52nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 17.774 points earned so far this season.
