Bedard finished 2-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bedard defeated Jamie Birtwistle (Ottawa, ON) 5-3, then won 5-4 against Chris Gardner (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Moosehead Classic, Bedard take home 13.035 world rankings points along with the $1,200CDN prize, moving up 31 spots the World Ranking Standings into 71st place overall with 35.764 total points.
