Christensen finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Christensen defeated Stephanie Senneker (Kalamazoo, MI) 6-3, then won 7-3 against Rachel Workin (Fargo, ND) and 7-0 against Christine McMakin (Fargo, ND). Christensen won 7-4 against Jamie Sinclair (Charlotte, NC) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Curl Mesabi Classic, Christensen take home 20.914 world rankings points along with the $3,883CDN prize, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 25th place overall with 133.738 total points.
