Daniel Magnusson (Karlstad, SWE) finished 2-3 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Magnusson defeated Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI) 8-6, then went on to lose 11-2 against Peter De Cruz (Geneve, SUI). Magnusson responded with a 8-1 win over Klaudius Harsch (Fuessen, GER). Magnusson went on to lose 10-4 against Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI). Magnusson lost 5-4 to Hoesli in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 4 of the event schedule, Magnusson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Magnusson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
