To advance to the championship game, Brunton/Lyon-Hatcher won 10-3 over Kelly Tremblay/Pierre Lanoue (Montreal, QC) in the semifinals of the 2021 GOLDLINE Clermont Mixed Doubles in Clermont, Quebec, Canada; and won 10-7 over Melissa Adams/Alex Robichaud (St-John, NB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2021 GOLDLINE Clermont Mixed Doubles in Clermont, Quebec, Canada;
 
Brunton/Lyon-Hatcher finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brunton/Lyon-Hatcher lost 11-2 to Tyler Parmiter/Ronnie Burgess (Fredericton, NB), then responded with a 10-7 win over Isabelle Lapointe/Marc Cote (Saguenay, QC). Brunton/Lyon-Hatcher won 10-5 against Christianne Guay/Gervais Lavoie (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
