To advance to the championship game, Walker/Leichter won 6-3 over Christine McMakin/Riley Fenson (Bemidji, MN) in the semifinals of the 2021 Curve US Open of Curling Mixed Doubles in Blaine, Minnesota, United States;
 
Walker/Leichter finished 4-0 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walker/Leichter defeated Maureen Stolt/Peter Stolt (Plymouth, MN) 7-6, then won 9-2 against Clare Moores/Lance Wheeler (Golden, CO) and 8-4 against Madison Bear/Andrew Stopera (Chaska, MN). Walker/Leichter won 8-0 against Emily Schweitzer/Blake Hagberg (Saint Paul, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
