Sturmay finished 2-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sturmay lost 9-6 to Brett Barber (Biggar, SK), then responded with a 9-6 win over Robyn Silvernagle (North Battleford, SK). Sturmay won 6-1 against Raphaela Keiser (St. Moritz, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
