To advance to the championship game, Molberg won 9-3 over Justin Runciman (Sherwood Park, AB) in the semifinals of the 2021 Alberta Curling Series: Camrose in Camrose;
 
Molberg finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Molberg lost 7-5 to Jacob Libbus (Okotoks, AB), then responded with a 8-7 win over Beau Cornelson (Edmonton, AB). Molberg won 6-1 against Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB), then won 8-2 against Rob Maksymetz (Grande Prairie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Alberta Curling Series: Camrose Championship title, Molberg earned 13.186 world rankings points along with the $2,093CDN first prize cheque. Molberg move up 25 spots after posting a net gain of 12.444 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 80th overall with 41.037 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Molberg ranks 39th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 40.124 points earned so far this season.
