Koana finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koana defeated Deb Santos (Edmonton, AB) 9-6, then won 6-5 against Jessica Wytrychowski (Airdrie, AB) and 7-2 against Olivia Jones (Okotoks, AB). Koana won 5-4 against Marla Sherrer (Lacombe, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Alberta Curling Series: Camrose, Koana take home 16.226 world rankings points along with the $1,761CDN prize, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 23rd place overall with 117.749 total points.
