To advance to the championship game, Howard won 6-3 over Sam Wills (Regina, SK) in the semifinals of the 2020 SCT South - Moose Jaw Cash in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada;
 
Howard finished 4-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated Shane Vollman (Regina, SK) 6-4, then won 4-3 against Brett Behm (Moose Jaw, SK) and 7-1 against Brent Gedak (Estevan, SK). Howard won 6-2 against Saskatchewan's Kent Zuravloff. Howard went on to lose 5-0 against Wills in their final qualifying round match.
 
Howard ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
