To advance to the championship game, Schut won 9-1 over Ryan Smith (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2020 Mayflower U18 Harvest Spiel in Halifax, Nova Scotia; and won 9-3 over Luke Godin (Halifax, NS) in the quarterfinals.
 
Schut finished 1-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schut lost 6-4 to Mosher, droppimg another game, 9-4 to Smith where Schut responded with a 7-3 win over Godin in their final qualifying round match.
 
Schut ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
