To advance to the championship game, Desormeau won 6-5 over Myla Plett (Airdrie, AB) in the semifinals of the 2020 Okotoks U18 Womens Spiel in Okotoks, Alberta; and won 10-6 over Jasodra Dieckelt (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2020 Okotoks U18 Womens Spiel in Okotoks, Alberta;
 
Desormeau finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Desormeau defeated Dieckelt 10-2, then went on to lose 7-5 against Chloe Johnston (Okotoks, AB). Desormeau responded with a 8-0 win over Hannah Northwood (Airdrie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Desormeau ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
