Ryleigh Bakker (Calgary, AB) won 7-6 over Serena Gray-Withers (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Red Deer Elks Junior Womens Spiel, held January 28 - 30, 2022 at the Red Deer Curling Club in Red Deer, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Bakker won 6-4 over Claire Booth (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals

Bakker finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bakker defeated Olivia Jones (Okotoks, AB) 6-5, then went on to lose 7-5 against Booth. Bakker responded with a 7-2 win over Morgan Deschiffart (Lacombe, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Bakker ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
