Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO) lost 7-3 to Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) in the Final of the British Curling NCA December Superspiel, held December 17 - 20, 2020 in Stirling, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Whyte won 5-1 over James Craik (Aberdeen, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2020 British Curling NCA December Superspiel in Stirling, Scotland;

Whyte finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Whyte defeated Maggie Wilson (Aberdeen, SCO) 7-2, then won 6-5 against Ross Paterson (Glasgow, SCO) and 6-2 against Beth Farmer (Kinross, SCO). Whyte went on to lose 6-5 against Gina Aitken (Edinburgh, SCO). Whyte responded with a 7-4 win over Mouat. Whyte went on to lose 6-1 against Cameron Bryce (Stirling, SCO). Whyte responded with a 6-4 win over Craik in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the British Curling NCA December Superspiel, Whyte take home 0.000 world rankings points. For week 18 of the event schedule, Whyte did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Whyte ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
