Wise won 8-6 against Canada's Charlie Richard, then won 7-3 against Adam Freilich (Montreal, QC) and 9-2 against Dan deWaard (Gatineau, QC). Wise won 6-5 against Mike Bouchard (Sarnia, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
