In their opening game, Dodds defeated Stefania Constantini (Trentino, ITA) 7-4, then won 9-5 against Tahli Gill (Brisbane, AUS) and 9-1 against Oihane Otaegi (San-Sebastian, ESP). Dodds went on to lose 7-6 against Anastasia Moskaleva (Moscow, RCF). Dodds responded with a 7-5 win over Zuzana Paulova (Prague, CZE).
