Scheidegger finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scheidegger defeated Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB) 5-4, then won 8-3 against Adele Kezama-Purcell (St Albert, AB) and 7-4 against Melissa Pierce (Edmonton, AB). Scheidegger won 7-6 against Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB), then won 8-7 against Walker and 8-1 against Elysa Crough (Edmonton, AB). Scheidegger went on to lose 7-6 against Rocque in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Sentinel Storage Alberta Scotties, Scheidegger take home 20.914 world rankings points.
