Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) lost 6-5 to Laura Walker (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Sentinel Storage Alberta Scotties, held January 3 - 9, 2022 in Grande Prairie, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Scheidegger won 10-7 over Kelsey Rocque (Edmotnon, AB) in the semifinals of the 2022 Sentinel Storage Alberta Scotties in Grande Prairie, Alberta;

Scheidegger finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scheidegger defeated Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB) 5-4, then won 8-3 against Adele Kezama-Purcell (St Albert, AB) and 7-4 against Melissa Pierce (Edmonton, AB). Scheidegger won 7-6 against Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB), then won 8-7 against Walker and 8-1 against Elysa Crough (Edmonton, AB). Scheidegger went on to lose 7-6 against Rocque in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Sentinel Storage Alberta Scotties, Scheidegger take home 20.914 world rankings points. Scheidegger move up 4 spots after posting a net gain of -5.163 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 20th overall with 135.448 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Scheidegger ranks 18th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 109.372 points earned so far this season.
