Fenton went on to lose 7-4 against Nick Mosher (Halifax, NS). Fenton lost 6-3 to Dylan Niepage (Guelph, ON) where Fenton responded with a 7-6 win over Mitchell Schut (Cornwall, PEI). Fenton won 10-9 against Rajan Dalrymple (Oromocto, NB). Fenton went on to lose 8-2 against Nathan Young (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.
