To advance to the championship game, Palancsa/Kiss won 8-6 over Pia-Lisa Schoell/Klaudius Harsch (Oberstdorf, GER) in the semifinals of the 2021 WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup in Kitzbuehel, Austria; and won 8-7 over Kristin Moen Skaslien/Magnus Nedregotten (Oslo, NOR) in the quarterfinals. of the 2021 WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup in Kitzbuehel, Austria;

Palancsa/Kiss finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Palancsa/Kiss defeated Eirin Mesloe/Willhelm Naess (Lillehammer, NOR) 10-0, then went on to lose 9-8 against Marie Kaldvee/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST). Palancsa/Kiss responded with a 8-2 win over Veronika Neznalova/Matej Neznal (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.
